About Harriet
Songwriting and electric technique define my workflow. Most people assume the best players spent childhood in conservatories, but I spent 13 years teaching myself from tabs and cassettes before getting my degree from Belmont University. This balance of grit and theory defines my style.
Having taught hundreds of students, I keep things honest and hands-on. I simply make sure we build a path that actually feels good to play.

Too many students quit because they cannot turn a complex song into something playable. During our first month, we simplify an average of 8 songs into custom arrangements that match your goals and skill level.
I use my degree in music industry to strip back the fluff and focus on practical skills, including reading sheet music and acoustic rhythm guitar. Each arrangement is designed to help you make steady progress without feeling overwhelmed.
You will find that playing simplified versions of songs can be far more rewarding than struggling through technical perfection. My goal is to help you build confidence, enjoy playing, and develop skills you can use across many songs.
