About Jamar
Do you struggle with sight singing or extending your vocal range? I use my BMus from Berklee to help students master genre styling for pop, classical, and musical theater. Developing rhythm and phrasing alongside belting technique keeps your vocal health in check.
We can also explore tone, resonance, and harmony singing together. Feel free to reach out if you want to chat about your voice.

Sometimes I admit that the audition room feels like a battlefield. My training at Berklee informs how I address these pressures during our time together.
We prioritize your specific repertoire while correcting technical hurdles in real time. My goal is to ensure you feel ready for your next performance.
Piano support is always available to ground your melody work. It is quite rewarding to see a student finally connect with their lyrics in a meaningful way.
We balance technical drills with creative choices that reveal your unique stage persona. Bringing your own song choices makes the work feel grounded and relevant. You get the benefit of 13 years of performing and teaching experience in every meeting. I truly enjoy the moment a student finds the right emotional resonance for a difficult phrase.
