About Rosa
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 7 years of teaching and professional music experience, passionate about helping students achieve technical mastery, musical expression, and self-confidence. I teach school and college students at all levels, from beginners learning their first notes to advanced learners preparing for recitals, exams, and competitions.
One of the most meaningful milestones in my career has been guiding students from struggling with posture, bowing, or rhythm to performers capable of playing with skill, emotion, and expressive interpretation.
My teaching emphasises strong technical foundations, including posture, finger placement, bowing technique, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also fostering creativity, musical interpretation, and expressive playing. I integrate music theory, sight-reading, listening exercises, and performance practice to provide students with a complete musical education.
Lessons are tailored to each student’s pace, learning style, and goals, creating a supportive, patient, and inspiring environment where students are encouraged to explore, express themselves, and reach their full potential. Teaching violin allows me to cultivate confidence, discipline, and a lifelong passion for music.

I teach violin using a methodology based on motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, designed to nurture musicians who are technically proficient, expressive, and confident. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s abilities, goals, and learning style, blending structured technical exercises with creative exploration, improvisation, and performance preparation.
Motivation is at the core of my teaching. I help students establish clear, achievable goals, track progress carefully, and celebrate milestones. This approach fosters perseverance, engagement, self-confidence, and a positive attitude towards challenges, ensuring students develop a resilient mindset alongside technical mastery.
Communication is essential. I maintain an interactive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable sharing their concerns, asking questions, and exploring musical ideas freely. This strengthens trust, engagement, and collaboration in the learning process.
Creativity is emphasised through improvisation, composition, and interpretation exercises. Students develop their personal artistic voice, explore emotional expression, and connect deeply with the music they play. Integrity reinforces disciplined, responsible practice and respect for learning, instilling habits that guarantee long-term growth and excellence.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and introductory piano, offering a holistic approach to music education that prepares students for both performance and academic growth.
