About Jini
With 5 years of teaching and performing experience, I am a passionate violin tutor committed to helping students develop technical proficiency, musical creativity, and confidence. I teach school and college students at all levels, from beginners learning their first notes to advanced learners preparing for recitals, exams, and competitions.
One of the highlights of my career has been guiding students from struggling with posture, technique, or stage confidence to performers capable of playing with technical skill, musicality, and emotional expression.
My teaching emphasises building strong technical foundations, including posture, finger placement, bowing technique, rhythm, tone, and intonation, while also fostering creativity, musical interpretation, and expressive playing. I integrate music theory, sight-reading, listening exercises, and performance practice to provide a holistic musical education.
I adapt lessons to each student’s pace, goals, and learning style, creating a supportive, patient, and inspiring environment where students feel encouraged to explore, express themselves, and reach their full potential. Teaching violin allows me to inspire confidence, nurture talent, and cultivate a lifelong love for music.

I teach violin with a methodology based on motivation, communication, creativity, and integrity, designed to help students grow into technically skilled, expressive, and confident musicians. Lessons are fully customised to each student’s abilities, goals, and learning style, balancing technical exercises with creative projects, improvisation, and performance practice.
Motivation is central. I work with students to set achievable goals, track progress, and celebrate milestones, building perseverance, self-confidence, and a passion for music. Communication ensures lessons are interactive, collaborative, and supportive, allowing students to express questions, challenges, and ideas freely.
Creativity is integrated throughout each lesson. Improvisation, composition, and interpretation exercises allow students to explore their artistic voice and deepen their emotional connection to music. Integrity emphasises disciplined, responsible practice and respect for learning, establishing habits that support long-term growth and excellence.
Alongside violin, I teach music theory, sight-reading, ear training, rhythm exercises, and basic piano, giving students a comprehensive musical foundation. My methodology nurtures technical skill, artistic expression, confidence, and lifelong engagement with music.
