About Tom

My name is Tom and I am an A level Maths and Physics student predicted an A and an A*. I first found my motivation to teach when I helped a friend move from a grade 4 in GCSE Physics to a grade 9. Watching their confidence grow and seeing how much they improved made me realise how much I enjoy explaining ideas in a way that finally makes sense as my way of learning or teaching is the same as I make some of the most complex topics seem very simple. Since then I have wanted to help other students achieve the same kind of progress. I am friendly, patient and always happy to answer any question, no matter how small. My aim is to make every lesson clear, supportive and confidence building.

About the lesson

I specialise in turning confusing topics into clear, simple ideas you can actually understand. Many of my previous GCSE students improved from grade 4–5 to grades 7–9 through focused explanation, exam technique, and building strong confidence. Every lesson is tailored to your weaknesses, goals, and exam board. I’m always happy to answer any question no matter how small; any question is a good one, and I always aim to create a friendly, supportive environment where you feel comfortable learning.
