I really appreciate how thoughtfully your lessons are put together. The structure is clear and easy to follow, which really helps with understanding the material step-by-step. I especially like how you consider my child’s illness and ensure that she has a break so that she is able to complete the lesson.
You are skilled at keeping my child engaged in the lesson. The explanations are thorough yet concise, striking a great balance between depth and accessibility. I really like how you check understanding and progress during the lesson, and give formative feedback so that Xanthe is able to make immediate corrections if needed. You are warm and approachable, and after the very first lesson, Xanthe had formed a great relationship with you and could not wait to start her sessions.
I was impressed that you checked Xanthe’s prior knowledge and understanding of the topics, and are focussing on the areas that she is weak on. You check Xanthe’s understanding during the lesson and it is lovely to hear her say that she’s got it!
