About Sophia
I am a dedicated professional with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and ten years of classroom teaching experience. Over the past decade, I have worked with hundreds of students ranging from absolute beginners to advanced speakers. I once coached an executive who needed to learn conversational Spanish quickly for a business trip to Mexico.
We focused entirely on professional communication and basic travel phrases during our short time together. My instructional approach combines structured grammar instruction with immersive conversation practice to maximize your weekly linguistic development. We build your vocabulary bank using interactive vocabulary themes focused on daily life, family, and modern workplaces. We will practice reading comprehension by exploring simple news articles, recipes, and short stories from Spain.
