About Vanora

Hello there, I graduated from the Queensland University of Technology in Queensland, Australia. Completed over 2600+ lessons in the past 5 years. When and why did you develop an interest in your chosen field?
It all comes from the gift of teaching that is in me so that my students enjoy the lessons with me. I have an interest in learning new
things and hence from personal learning, I developed a learning mindset, which is relatable to some other students too!
What makes you passionate about your subject?
I have been teaching for the past couple of years and established a group of students who I would call friends. Learning something new may be challenging, but I often encourage them to see how far they have come. I am overjoyed with them as I see their improvements!
What do you like about tutoring? What makes you a "Superprof"?
My lessons are uplifting and easy to follow. Not like traditional tutoring, which may seem tiring to continue. But my students often enjoy growing with me as I care and find out what are they struggling with. I do not just follow the syllabus but I cater to every student's needs.
Do you have any role models; a teacher that inspired you? Please explain.
When I was young, I had lots of tutorials and tutors I had followed. Many of them taught me a lot - whether I enjoyed their teachings or
not. There is one teacher who inspired me to be compassionate. As a tutor, I may encounter students who do not follow well. But now I take this as good opportunity, so that as I explain and teach them again and again, I won't lose patient because I am learning it with them together. I was once a not-so-smart student too!
What are your keys to success?
I give my best condition to my students in every lesson. Not treating the lesson as a one-off meeting, but I cherish the time students and I can spend together learning something. I care about my students and love to know them personally. I am not just a tutor who teaches what you need, but I am a friend to you who I want to celebrate our lives together!
