About Renata
I lived in the interior of Rio de Janeiro (RJ), Brazil, for 8 years, then I moved to a big city still in RJ.
I spent 3 years trying to get into medical school and I couldn't. I opted for Chemical Engineering, and today I am in love with my course. I'm currently in the 6th period.
I participated in several academic activities, such as:
- Arariboia team, we developed a boat powered by solar energy
- scientific initiation, I investigated carbon-based electrodes drawn in pencil on post paper it and electrochemical devices to determine lead in natural waters
- analytical chemistry monitor I, helped students solve exercises and resolve their doubts
- the myths brazil team, we developed a rover, carried out scientific dissemination, and participated in a competition at nasa
Recently, I was accepted to the international mobility program at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) for 11 months, from 13/09/2021.
