About Charondre
The scent of rosin dust hangs in the air whenever I pull a bow across the strings. I spent 12 years gigging in Americana bands before deciding to pass these melodies on to others. My path began as a self-taught player who eventually found a home in the traditional old-time festival circuit. I now share the cultural context that makes this music meaningful for every student.
Teaching the whole package means I cover everything from scales and arpeggios to complex spiccato and staccato bowing. My 13 years of experience inform the way I explain vibrato and classical repertoire to returning learners. I welcome grade exam candidates who want a solid foundation in the oral tradition. Maybe you should come by and play a few bars sometime.

Students work through rigorous scales and arpeggios alongside performance-focused repertoire that actually speaks to an audience. I keep the process grounded in the traditional style while we polish those technical nuances. You will gain the confidence to make every note count during your next performance.
