About Emmanuel
I'm an aspiring psychologist. More specifically an experimental psychologist.
I want to teach you because there is no better joy than imparting years of experience into someone who was once in my position so they can similarly see what great teachers have shown me. At Brampton Manor sixth form all teachers come from outstanding russel group backgrounds where they had direct access to prestigious teaching and I hope to imitate the same to show you knowledge is never out of reach both during and after the course of my teaching. My lessons are very much tailored to the student. As an aspiring psychologist I understand learning styles vary and research shows the most effective teaching happens when it is tailored to one's learning style. Whether you are a visual or kindesthetic learner I hope to grip your ability to understand in a way that ignited your passion for maths and shows you your true problem-solving potential. I also encourage a lot of guided research allowing learners to touch base with what they understand and guiding them towards the answer with mathematical concepts they already know - a method called Socratic questioning that builds the exam confidence needed to tackle thought-provoking maths questions under time restraints
