About Valeria

With 8 years of experience and nearly 150 students trained, I specialise in teaching flute with clarity and patience. I work with students of all ages and ensure that each lesson is organised and result-oriented.

My classes focus heavily on fundamentals. I teach proper breathing techniques, tone development, finger coordination, articulation control, and rhythm accuracy. I also include sight-reading and music theory basics to build complete musical understanding.

I believe clear communication is essential in music education. I explain techniques in simple language and demonstrate them practically so students understand both the “how” and the “why.”

My unique skill is quickly identifying areas where a student needs improvement and providing targeted exercises to strengthen those areas. I maintain a calm and motivating atmosphere that supports consistent learning.

Teaching flute is a responsibility I take seriously, and I am committed to guiding students towards both technical excellence and musical enjoyment.

About the lesson

My flute teaching methodology is built on clarity, patience, adaptability, collaboration, and positivity. I believe students progress best when lessons are clearly structured and taught at a comfortable pace.

Every learner is different, so I carefully observe their strengths and challenges and adjust my approach accordingly.

I begin with core fundamentals such as posture alignment, breath support, embouchure control, and tone production. These basics form the backbone of confident flute playing.

As students improve, I introduce finger technique exercises, scale studies, articulation practice, and dynamic control. I break complex techniques into smaller, manageable steps to ensure steady understanding.

Alongside flute performance, I teach music theory, rhythm counting, sight-reading, and ear training. This ensures that students not only play but also understand the structure of the music. Flexibility allows me to modify lessons based on student goals—whether preparing for exams, school programmes, stage performances, or personal growth.

Collaboration is encouraged through regular feedback and shared decision-making in repertoire selection. I maintain a positive environment where mistakes are treated as learning opportunities. My goal is to build technically accurate, confident, and expressive flute players.
