About Sienna
For the past 15+ years, I have dedicated myself to teaching Spanish to High School and College students with patience and enthusiasm. I have successfully worked with around 150 students and have enjoyed supporting them as they achieved their learning goals. Teaching allows me to share my knowledge while helping students build valuable communication skills.
My teaching philosophy is based on personalized instruction and practical learning. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit individual abilities and learning styles. My classes develop grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, listening, and speaking through interactive exercises, conversations, and real-world examples.
I believe regular feedback and revision are important for long-term success. Students receive guidance throughout every stage of their learning journey, allowing them to build confidence while improving steadily. Cultural discussions also help learners appreciate Spanish beyond grammar and vocabulary.
One of my greatest achievements has been helping students gain confidence and improve their academic performance. Seeing learners become comfortable communicating in Spanish reminds me why I enjoy teaching.
My classroom is built on patience, respect, and encouragement. I strive to create a welcoming environment where students feel motivated to learn, grow, and achieve success in Spanish.

I believe learning Spanish should be a dynamic, engaging, and rewarding experience. My teaching methodology emphasizes Accountability, guiding students to set goals, take ownership of their learning, and reflect on progress consistently. I uphold Integrity in every lesson, providing honest, transparent, and high-quality instruction while addressing each student’s individual needs and abilities.
Lessons are designed with Flexibility, allowing me to adapt content, pace, and teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and objectives. Communication is the cornerstone of my teaching; I encourage students to engage in conversation, ask questions, and express ideas, reinforcing comprehension and practical usage of the language.
I maintain a Positive learning environment, celebrating achievements, inspiring confidence, and motivating students to embrace challenges. Beyond Spanish, I integrate relevant subjects such as grammar, literature, and cultural knowledge, providing context that enriches learning and strengthens overall language skills.
My approach aims to help students communicate confidently, understand the cultural depth of the language, and develop a lifelong interest in Spanish.
