About Rome
As an experienced trumpet educator, I take pride in creating a positive and inspiring learning environment where students can build strong technical skills and musical confidence. My teaching approach emphasizes proper fundamentals, effective practice habits, expressive performance, and long-term musical growth.
I enjoy working with children, teenagers, adults, hobbyists, and aspiring professionals, adapting every lesson to suit individual goals and abilities. I provide comprehensive trumpet lessons that combine technical excellence with creative musical development for students at every level. Beginners build a strong musical foundation by learning breathing techniques, embouchure formation, note reading, rhythm, articulation, scales, and tone production in a relaxed and encouraging environment.
Intermediate learners strengthen endurance, flexibility, finger coordination, sight reading, phrasing, dynamics, and expressive performance while expanding their technical abilities. Advanced students receive focused coaching in orchestral repertoire, jazz improvisation, solo literature, audition preparation, ensemble performance, advanced articulation, and musical interpretation.
Lessons also include music theory, ear training, practice planning, warm up exercises, performance preparation, and strategies for overcoming technical challenges. Every lesson is tailored to meet the student's goals, whether preparing for examinations, competitions, concerts, or personal musical growth.
I provide detailed feedback, structured practice plans, and continuous motivation to ensure consistent progress. My goal is to help students become confident trumpet players who perform with excellent tone, precision, musicality, and enjoyment.
