About ISSAM
I am a Bristol‑based maths tutor with a STEM engineering background and over 24 years of experience supporting students through GCSE, A‑Level, IB and university‑level maths. I enjoy taking topics that feel confusing or intimidating and breaking them into clear, manageable steps so they finally “click”. I specialise in algebra and calculus, using real‑life examples, past papers and exam‑style questions to make lessons practical and engaging. My sessions are calm, patient and encouraging, with plenty of space for questions, so you can build real confidence as well as strong exam results.

Bristol‑based Maths tutor with an engineering (STEM) degree and 24 years’ experience teaching GCSE, IGCSE, IAL, A‑Level, IB and first‑year university maths, specialising in algebra and calculus. Lessons are usually 60 minutes (90 minutes available for intensive exam prep) and focus on clear, step‑by‑step explanations, targeted practice and past‑paper questions to develop strong understanding and exam technique. I work mainly with students aged 14+ (GCSE through university and adult learners), tailoring each session to their syllabus and goals, whether they are aiming to secure a pass or achieve top grades.
