About Krishna
Hello! I'm Krishna, a student at Westminster School with a passion for mathematics and problem-solving - and I'd be thrilled to share this passion with you. Studying at a top private school, I have a thorough understanding of the tools for success in the British education system and can help my tutees with exam/challenge-specific preparation. Firstly, I have first-hand experience in 11+ and 13+ entry examinations, having received scholarships to some of the UK's top schools (Haberdashers' Aske's Boys' School, Magdalen College School). I've also received Gold awards in the national Junior, Intermediate and Senior Maths Challenges with merits at the Olympiad level. Moreover I recently obtained 12 9s (A** equivalent) at GCSE, with Maths of course being one of them.
Above all, I'm passionate about maths and its beauty. Not only do I help students achieve the results they want, but I'm dedicated to cultivating an appreciation for maths. All too often, students see maths as an intimidating subject, with its strange symbols and notation, and so are never able to fully appreciate its logical foundations and real-world applications. Teaching has long been of interest to me - I've previously taught French and Maths at a recognised international school over the summer. I'm committed to fostering an environment where students feel confident, engaged and motivated to reach their full potential - join me on this exciting journey!

I utilise mainly student-centred learning, usually first spending time to find out their weaknesses through some sort of informal assessment. Then, they'll be turned into strengths! Having done a teaching internship at a top-level private school, and free tutoring to local children in my area, it's safe to say I know what I'm doing! In general, lessons would last 1 hour, and I would be looking for students who are preparing for upcoming Maths Challenges (e.g. JMC, IMC), scholarship exams (e.g. King's Scholarship) and general public exams.

Perfect! Very nice and helpful
Perfect! Krishna is an excellent Maths teacher. He has deep knowledge of the subject and, as a student himself, he is great at explaining concepts in a clear and concise fashion. He does a great job of setting homework and following up on the work done. Despite his young age, Krishna is very well organized and I have found him to be far more responsive than many other experienced tutors that we have worked with. I highly recommend him!

My son has had many lessons with Krishna, and the results definitely show- he was able to get into Westminster Under School because of his lessons. He explains things very clearly, and my son is now racing through topics that he did not understand a few months ago. I would definitely recommend Krishna as a tutor.
Hi, I'm William's father - I found Krishna online on Superprof and after a free trial lesson, decided to go through with it and continue taking lessons to prepare William for his 11+ exams.
