This approach helps students see the value in what they're studying and improves retention. Breaking Down Complex Ideas: For more advanced topics like Actuarial Mathematics or Machine Learning, I break complex theories down into smaller, more manageable pieces. This helps build a strong foundation so that students feel confident tackling harder concepts. Identifying Weaknesses & Targeted Focus: I regularly assess students' progress and identify areas where they may be struggling. Qualifications & Experience: I am a graduate in Actuarial Mathematics, with a strong background in mathematics, statistics, physics, and coding (SQL, Python, R). I have a wealth of experience teaching over 380+ hours with, MyTutor Schools students from Key Stage 3 to University level, helping them grasp fundamental concepts and excel in more advanced topics. Over the years, I have honed my ability to communicate complex topics in a simple and engaging way, helping students overcome challenges and achieve their academic goals. Target Audience: My lessons are suitable for students ranging from Key Stage 3 (KS3) through to University level. Whether you're a secondary school student starting with basic algebra, a grammar school student tackling higher order mathematics, or a university student grappling with actuarial mathematics, statistics, or coding, my lessons are tailored to your individual level and goals.
