About Ayanda
I am currently a tertiary student doing my bachelor's degree in Biochemistry and Microbiology. Although I am a student, I am also a very active member in my institution and community as I participate in a number of things, some voluntary and some of some benefit. I have 2 years' experience as a physical sciences tutor in the science access department. I am also an HPW mini schools program mentor at a school in my community where we make extra science lessons for the grade 9's, getting them ready for their senior studies. To express my dedication to building the youth into science and teaching, I am also a matriculant mentor.

When it comes to teaching and sharing information, that is definitely my favorite thing. Simplifying science and making it easy is what I aim for. I always encourage my students to think like a mathematician or the greatest scientist in the world, and that is the key to becoming a real genius. I prefer interactive lessons where I get to see where my students are fluent and where they need improvement. Problem-solving is also an effective way to see my students' way of critical thinking, and lastly, tests and assignments are very important for us to see our learning progress.
