About Jayda

Welcome! I'm a passionate maths tutor with an engineering degree from Brunel University. My approach prioritises understanding over memorisation, tailored to each student's unique learning style. I create a supportive environment to build confidence and foster a genuine love for maths. Let's embark on this journey together, mastering concepts and conquering challenges for your academic success.

About the lesson

I work predominantly in visual learning with real-world examples to help grasp new concepts and topics. Short burst quizzes to maintain knowledge throughout the terms with a focus on students' personal interests and goals as well. Typical length of a lesson is 1-1.5 hours, with flexibility to extend or split. I have A-levels in both Mathematics and Physics and a Bachelor of Science in Product Design Engineering with upper second class honours. Depending on the level, we would start with the basics and work our way onto more difficult, relative topics to assist with everyday learning or we can focus on exam preparation and revision techniques. I have experience in tutoring maths for GCSE level teaching mathematics for KS3 students with ADHD. My lessons are for age 10 to 16.
