About Khethuxolo
I have 8 years of field research experience providing training in the form of lectures and practical demonstrations to farmers and Agricultural Advisors on good agricultural practises. My experience include training farmers and advisors on the use and application of agrochemicals on a range of crops. Calibration of spray equipments, trial layouts, the basic principles of crop production of a variety of crop species, data analysis, report writing.

My teaching method is simplifying complex concepts to their simplest form. Ensuring that everyone understands and are on the same page. Not assuming that students are supposed to know this or that. Challenging students to think, using practical examples to explain scientific terminology. I personally over explain things in order to emphasize a point.
The structure of of my lessons follows a simple approach:
1) Introduce a concept, explain it thoroughly,
2) Show how it is related to other concepts in crop production and plants wholistically.
3) Provide examples to emphasise the concept
4) Review by asking questions related to the concept, ask the same questions differently ask applicable questions and see how students apply the new concept.
