Methods of Teaching:
Practical Hands on Experience through multiple practical exercises, homework and Coursework.
My methodology includes a lot of practice through exercise and small homework and/ or coursework, and I know that a lot of people won't necessarily agree with this, but practice makes perfect, at least in programming.
Without practice, you can learn as much theory as your heart desires, but I guarantee that in a short period of time, without practice, everything will be forgotten.
Ideally a weekly session with a student would be composed of one hour Q and A session, and 1 to 2 hours of laboratory work.
