About Kate
I have a passion for teaching which stems from my own love of learning. I am currently in my second year of a BSc in Natural Science and achieved A*s in Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths.
I bring my own passion for the subject into my personally tailored lessons, as well as recent personal experience in the courses I am teaching and knowledge on the skills needed to achieve top marks.

I deliver student-first, personalised lessons, specifically tackling the areas of issue or interest that the student highlights. I am also able to provide more broad sessions, hitting the key parts of the curriculum that I know from personal experience are most vital.
I give comprehensive overviews on topics with clear, concise steps and easy to understand explanations, allowing the student to build up their knowledge from the foundation which is beneficial for both current and future learning.
I also have a strong focus on practical exercises and questions, as I believe the most effective way to learn and retain information is through repeated use.
I provide students with revision practices that I myself use, in order to encourage them to be more self-sufficient learners and equip them with skills that will continue to benefit throughout their educational journey.
