My Teaching Approach: Mastery Through Practice, Revision & Exams
As a BSc Physics student, I’ve developed a teaching method that prioritizes deep understanding and long-term retention. I don’t just help students “get through” chapters — I help them master the subject.
Teaching Techniques & Methods
- Concept First: Every class begins with a focused dive into a specific topic. I break it down until the student truly understands the “why” behind the concept.
- Practice-Driven Learning: After teaching, we solve exercises that test understanding. If a student struggles, we return to the concept and rebuild it from the ground up.
- Revision Loop: I don’t let old chapters fade. I design revision sessions that reconnect past topics with current ones, reinforcing memory and integration.
- Exam-Based Reinforcement: Periodic tests simulate real exam conditions and help students retain knowledge. These also reveal weak areas we can target in future sessions.
Structure of a Typical Class
- Warm-Up: Quick recap of previous topics or a short quiz.
- Concept Focus: Deep explanation of the day’s topic with examples.
- Practice Time: Students solve problems while I guide and correct.
- Feedback Loop: If errors occur, we revisit the concept immediately.
- Wrap-Up: Summary, homework, and a mini test or revision plan.
What Makes Me Different
- I don’t rush. I ensure every student understands before moving on.
- I track progress and adapt the pace to each learner’s needs.
- I connect chapters across time so students build a strong foundation.
- I’m patient, methodical, and committed to your success.
Who My Classes Are For
- School Students (Class 8–12): Especially those preparing for board exams or struggling with physics fundamentals.
- College Students: BSc or engineering students who need clarity in core physics topics.
- Adult Learners: Anyone returning to science or preparing for competitive exams.
