About Danni

I am a 30 year old mature student who is dedicated in the study of Psychology. I have completed 2 years of prior study and 1 year at BsC level towards my psychology degree. I have 14 years of extensive experience in several different sectors of the professional industry such as team leading and managerial positions in hospitality, live music events and charity work. I have managed and mentored employees in several different areas, such as, all aspects of bar work, running live music events and warehouse operation.
I am an overall people person and feel energised when being ble to work with people in a learning environment. Individual comfortablitiy is my top priority and i will do anything within my means to ensure a student feels comfortable during our tutor sessions.
I identify as non-binary (she/they pronouns are fine) and would like to stress that our sessions will always be a 100 percent LGBTQ+ safe space for everyone.
I have two cats and a dog and will love to discuss your pets during our break times in the sessions.
I am diagnosed with ADHD and share an understanding and empathetic demeanor toward neurodivergent students who may struggle with the societally set learning expectations. If you have addional needs or any concerns in this area then please make me aware and we can adjust your learning plan to fit your personal learning style.

About the lesson

Individual needs and levels are estabalished during first session (90 minutes), from this we can decide on your personal goals and focusses. Each session will reflect on the previous to monitor progression and identify areas in need of a revisit.

First session takes 90 minutes to allow time to build a personal plan with you, sessions after are typically 60 minutes long. 120 minutes sessions are available for students if needed. Sessions will be conducted at your home or local library if preferred (library sessions are for non-guitar tutor sessions only).

A levels in Psychology, sociology and criminology (M D D), completed BsC year 1 psychology with 2.1.
BTEC, First Diploma and National Diploma in Music Performance. GCSE English A and Maths level 5.

Psychology tutoring for up to level 5, GCSE, A-levels and students starting year 1 at university. Mentoring for up to level 4 sociology and criminolgy (up to A-level only). Must have access to a personal laptop, chromebook or similar. Smartphones with internet connection are fine if we are working through a school workbook.

Guitar tutoring for electric or acoutsic for absolute beginners or students with basic guitar skills. Students wanting to learn or brush up on chords, barre chords, power chords, finger picking ect. Can teach different styles; blues, rock, metal, punk, acoustic ect. Use of a personal guitar (acoutsic or electric) is ideal or one can be supplied during tutor sessions for an aditional fee.
