About Sophie
I am a French national of Spanish descent with an English degree. I have the PGCE and the French equivalent CAPES and therefore I am both a qualified French and Spanish teacher in the UK and a qualified English teacher in France.

My lessons are taylored to students' needs and prefered learning styles.
I adapt to the students' wishes, whether they want to work towards passing a specific exam or whether they want to improve their fluency in the language. I have worked for 9 years teaching languages, in primary schools, secondary schools, six form centers and in summer language schools for foreign students such as Oxford Itensive School of English in Bristol.
I emphasise the importance of phonetics and find many engaging and fun activities to help students sound more fluent with tongue twisters and recording their voice as they read out the script from cult movies which I mute and replay in front of their eyes.
I also help students progress and improve their vocabulary and grammar in creative ways.
Which ever reason you have to learn French or Spanish, I have a passion for languages and I look forward to helping you progress efficiently while having fun.
