About Randy
One thing I've learned through teaching is that students progress best when they feel comfortable and supported. A relaxed environment helps them ask questions, make mistakes, and keep improving without fear.
I have a Degree in Music and 10 years of experience teaching beginners and working professionals. Working with different students has helped me understand that everyone has different goals and learning speeds.
I enjoy helping students discover the joy of playing piano, whether they are learning their first song or working on advanced pieces. Seeing their confidence grow is one of the most rewarding parts of my work.

During my piano lessons, I create a comfortable space where students can learn at their own pace and enjoy making music. Each class combines practical playing, simple explanations, and activities that help you understand the piano more naturally.
We'll explore chords, scales, rhythm, finger techniques, hand coordination, sight reading, accompaniment, improvisation, music theory, dynamics, and expressive playing. We may spend extra time on a favourite piece or practise a challenging section until it feels easier and more enjoyable.
I'll provide simple practice routines and regular feedback so you know what to improve between lessons. Over time, you'll build stronger skills, play with more confidence, and feel more independent at the piano.
