About Gowry

I’m Gowry, a trained performer with over 10 years of experience in dance and formal vocal training in singing. Music and movement have been at the heart of my life for as long as I can remember. I actively explore diverse dance styles and techniques to keep my perspective versatile, fresh, and dynamic. Alongside my performing background, I hold a B.Com in International Finance & Accounting, have cleared 9 ACCA professional papers, and am currently pursuing my MBA.

About the lesson

I focus on helping students build rhythm, grace, and true performance confidence. I break down dance into clear, logical steps so that movement feels natural, expressive, and fun.

Teaching Techniques & Methods
1. Step-by-Step Breakdown: Complex movements, footwork, and postures are simplified into easy, manageable drills.
2. Rhythm & Musicality: Combining my dance experience with 12+ years of vocal training, I teach students how to connect deeply with beats, tempo, and song structure.
3. Performance & Expression: Focus on posture, facial expressions, and overcoming stage anxiety to build true stage presence.
Typical Class Structure (60 Mins)
1. Warm-Up (10 mins): Gentle stretching, posture alignment, and stamina building.
2. Technique (15 mins): Step-by-step drills on footwork, rhythm control, and body balance.
3. Choreography (25 mins): Learning and practicing routines tailored to real music.
4. Cool-Down & Feedback (10 mins): Light stretching accompanied by positive, actionable feedback.
