About Linda
I’m an experienced elementary teacher who has taught students in grades one through five in both self-contained classrooms and math-specific settings. For the past seven years, I focused exclusively on teaching math, helping students build a strong foundation and a genuine love for the subject. My lessons are designed to be clear, engaging, and fun because when learning is enjoyable, confidence grows.

Each tutoring session is carefully planned to meet the individual needs of your child. We start with a quick engaging activity to review previous concepts and get the brain warmed up and then the core lesson centers on the specific topic your child needs support with using clear, explanations, visual aids, and real world examples to make the concept understandable. Your child will work through problems with my support that helps build confidence and catches any misunderstandings early. We work together step-by-step. Students will try a few problems on their own to show what they’ve learned and we end by reviewing key points and celebrating progress.
