About Julia
I am a club leader at my school’s environmental club, which educates students about the importance of climate change and how to keep our planet healthy. Outside of school, I am an assistant coach for Burnaby Football Club (BFC) where I teach players drills, techniques, as well as individual and team skills. I am gaining experience in tutoring and believe that everyone has a certain learning style and takes different lengths of time to fully grasp a concept. I have taught some of my peers and younger classmates in the subjects I have listed above.

I understand that school can get tough, but with the right tutor and willingness to do well, I believe anyone can succeed. It takes time and effort, but, like with anything, if you truly want something in life, you will do whatever it takes to get it. My first lesson will include a small introduction of myself and the student and then a recap of the basics of the specific topic/subject. Closer to the end of the session, we can dive into more complex questions and problems that may stump you.

Julia has taught me subjects ranging from chemistry 11 to biology 11. I initially found it difficult to understand these subjects but after a few lessons from Julia, I was able to learn them way more easily.
Julia has been a wonderful teacher who has taught me concepts from pre calculus 11 and 12 over Google meets. Ever since learning from her, I have been able to grasp topics more quickly and problem solve better.
