About Ishita
I am a student who has been tutoring for over 5 years in math, english, and business related subjects. I've provided over 30 students mentorship for their college careers and pathways alongside boosting their academic performance in school. Many of my students have started off as C students and brought themselves up to As in their English & Math classes. I have recently been through the competitive high school education system in the Bay Area and understand how to navigate it smartly while avoiding burnout. I am also a 4.0 student pursuing a BBA and BS at UT Austin.

I have a very personalized teaching approach. I believe strongly in the importance of practice and application when it comes to academics. I like to prepare my students for exams, quizzes, assignments, etc by having them apply the lessons taught by me and in school to real scenarios. I will always make sure to check in with students and understand what is and is not working out for them. Practice is the most tangible way to decipher growth through results and I believe every student could benefit from this.
