I use a communicative approach to my teaching and my class. We work progressively from building a model, to assisted practice and then finally independent practice so that the student gains a mastery of the material that will allow them to adapt the use of their language to all situations.
I have a graduate business diploma from Simon Fraser University and come from an accounting and finance background. I have worked in corporate management for over 20 years with experience in Real Estate, & Industrial Manufacturing. My undergraduate degree was in Economics and Geography from the University of Manitoba. I also have experience in Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and Project Management.
IELTS Teaching certification is is process, I currently assist an IELTS prep course on a volunteer basis.
Missed Classes will be charged $10.00 if not attended withing 10 minutes of start time. A minimum of 30 minutes advance notice is required to cancel a class in advance.
