About Imani
I have been a visual artist pretty much my entire life. Much of what I learned has been self-taught over the years, however, I am also currently in school for art education. I have taught various ages from small children to elderly clients and hosted over 50 paint sessions, an art camp visual instructor, and built this same curriculum for an afterschool program of varying ages. I have truly enjoyed this journey and look forward to helping in any big or small way to encourage the curiosity and interests for the arts!

If you have ever been even slightly interested in becoming a visual artist, this is the perfect intro for you! You will learn the basic techniques to get you started with just about any visual arts medium! You will learn about shading and color, you will learn about the various mediums such as acrylic, watercolor, pencil, charcoal, pastels, digital, collage, mixed medium, and even some experimental art! We will also play fun games and complete a few interesting crafts and projects!
