About IMRAN
My name is Imran Syed, and I am a business and transportation professional with more than 20 years of hands-on experience in Canada. My background includes business development, sales, customer service, transportation and logistics operations, vendor management, negotiation and managing long-term client relationships.
Throughout my career, I have worked directly with thousands of businesses, carriers and service providers, handled complex operational challenges and helped develop and maintain valuable customer accounts.
I hold a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) and believe that some of the most valuable business lessons come from combining education with real-world experience.
As a tutor, I want to create a professional, respectful and comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions openly. I will share practical knowledge honestly, including successes, challenges and mistakes I have learned from throughout my career.
My objective is not to promise overnight success, but to help students understand how business works in the real world and give them practical knowledge they can use to make better-informed decisions.

My lessons are practical and conversational, based on more than 20 years of real-world experience in business, sales, customer service, transportation and logistics in Canada.
My teaching method focuses on learning through real examples rather than theory alone. We will discuss how to identify a service people need, evaluate a business idea, find potential customers, approach them professionally, market and price a service, negotiate, deliver what was promised and build long-term customer relationships.
A typical 60-minute lesson starts by understanding the student's goal or business idea. We then focus on one specific topic, work through real-world examples and apply the lesson to the student's own situation. We finish with practical next steps or an exercise the student can work on before the next lesson.
What sets me apart is practical experience. I have spent more than two decades dealing directly with customers, vendors, transportation companies and business owners, while managing operations, sales and customer relationships. I share not only what worked, but also mistakes, challenges and lessons learned along the way.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, aspiring entrepreneurs, newcomers to Canada, small-business owners, and anyone interested in practical business creation, marketing, sales and service-based businesses.
I do not promise guaranteed income or business success. I provide education and share my experience, methods and practical knowledge. Any decision to start a business, spend money or take financial risk remains entirely with the student.
