About Gaenor

Hello, my name is Gaenor Solomons, and I am a dedicated and professional Business Studies and EMS tutor for Grades 7–12. I am currently completing my teaching qualification, with a subject specialization in Business Studies, and I have practical experience working with learners across the Senior and FET phases. I am passionate about education and committed to helping learners understand business concepts clearly, apply them confidently, and perform successfully in assessments and examinations. My teaching approach is structured, learner-centered, and aligned with the CAPS curriculum, ensuring that lessons are both academically sound and exam-focused. I pride myself on being well-prepared, patient, and supportive, while also maintaining high academic standards. I explain concepts in a clear and relatable way, using real-life South African business examples to make learning meaningful and engaging. I adapt my lessons to suit each learner’s pace, ability, and learning style. Students can expect a professional, respectful learning environment where questions are encouraged, progress is monitored, and confidence is built step by step. My goal is not only to help learners improve their marks, but to develop their critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and independent learning habits.
