Whether you are a university student or business professional, I want to help you achieve your writing goals.
Each lesson will be tailored to meet your learning needs and last for approximately 50-60 minutes. I can help you with writing challenges including:
- punctuation, grammar and spelling
- word choice, tone of voice and writing style
- passive versus active voice
- sentence and paragraph structure
- document structure requirements (e.g. reports, essays, briefs, media releases, articles, blog posts, etc.)
- simplifying and prioritizing your messages
- understanding your reader's information needs
- editing and troubleshooting strategies.
You will leave each lesson with new knowledge and practical tips you can use immediately to improve your writing.
I will be drawing on more than 25 years' experience as a professional writer in the government, not-for-profit, business and university sectors. I have also taught professional writing, public relations and communications to university undergraduate students for more than six years.
