About Shannon
I started to play the piano at age 10. I took cello lessons and played in orchestras in middle school through college. I graduated from BYU with a music minor. I have taught lessons at my home for over 11 years. I enjoy sharing my passion for music with my students. Music is a big part of my life and who I am.

I teach beginning through advanced cello and piano students. I can teach lessons to students who are age 4 and older. I teach scales, technique, music reading, and more. I prefer teaching from Suzuki lesson books for my cello students. I have taught from several piano lesson books. I help my students with difficult orchestra music. I also like to have my students play fun songs that they want to learn.
