About Bela
I'm a recent graduate of BYU's broadcast journalism program, with minors in French, Biblical Hebrew, and Geology. I learned French by living in francophone countries, as well as intensive university study. I served a volunteer mission in French Polynesia and completed a French study abroad program to Senegal and Morocco. I have two years' experience teaching French to high-school-senior-aged students, instructing classes ranging in size from one to fifteen students.

As a professional language instructor of two years, I have experience teaching French to classes of teenagers. It's my opinion that learning a language doesn't have to be a chore! I have perspectives and stories to share from my experiences in some very diverse Francophone nations (Tahiti, Senegal, Morocco, France). My teaching approach involves total language immersion to help the student recognize how much of the language they already own! I also hate overlong lectures and non-diversified practice sessions, so you'll probably always play *at least* one game in my class. ;)
