About Luke
As a current Engineering Major, I know how important mathematics is to understanding anything and everything about our world. Math is the backbone of our society and it is the tool we rely on to predict the future. I believe everyone should have a fundamental knowledge of mathematics, and my goal is to help students achieve a high level of understanding.

I plan to help students in any areas of basic math they may need support in. Learning math is often considered one of the hardest subjects to understand at first. My goal is to take the material you’re struggling with and teach it in a simpler, more approachable way.
Math doesn’t always make sense when you first learn it, which is why I place a strong emphasis on hands-on learning. This approach helps students stay engaged as the material is being taught. We will work through a few examples together after a brief review of the subject, and then I will give students the opportunity to try some on their own.
At the end of each lesson, I can help answer homework questions or fill in any gaps in understanding you may still have.
