About Collin
I have been an amateur artist and doodler my whole life, I took up calligraphy and portrait art as a way to pass the time while deployed overseas in the military to help keep me out of trouble (It worked a little too well)!
I am now a teleworker with a more relaxed schedule looking to see if I can get some extra use out of what I've learned.

Teaching method:
- Involved 1-on-1 process focusing on discovery and "play" within the medium.
- Focus on mastery of the basics and the underlying patterns underlying all handwriting before advancing into experimentation.
- Easy approach that is hard to master, patient but engaging style of mentorship.
- Easy assignments and forgiving approach. It's okay to not do your homework! It's for your benefit!
Audience:
- Any interested hobbyist in the Indianapolis area.
- I will be forthright if your level of skill is over mine. I can only teach you what I know, though if you are just looking for someone to motivate you or practice with, we can renegotiate the fee!
