About Valentina
With 4 years of teaching experience and over 150 students taught, I am a flute tutor who believes in combining technical excellence with artistic expression. I teach all levels, helping students build skills in breath control, tone quality, finger technique, and rhythm, while also fostering creativity and musicality.
Lessons are customised to each student’s abilities, goals, and interests, making learning effective, enjoyable, and inspiring. I also focus on music theory, sight-reading, and performance preparation, equipping students with the tools to excel in recitals, exams, or personal projects. My goal is to guide students towards becoming confident, expressive, and passionate musicians.

My flute teaching methodology is designed to provide a flexible, collaborative, and encouraging learning experience. I begin by understanding each student’s unique learning style and tailoring lessons to suit their pace, strengths, and musical interests. This ensures lessons are effective, engaging, and enjoyable.
Flexibility allows me to modify exercises, repertoire, and practice routines according to the student’s progress and goals. Collaboration is integral to my teaching, with students participating in duets, ensemble exercises, and group activities that enhance confidence, musical expression, and teamwork. Positivity guides every lesson, creating a supportive environment where students feel inspired to explore, try new techniques, and celebrate achievements.
Alongside flute instruction, I integrate music theory, sight-reading, rhythm, and ear training. This comprehensive methodology develops technical skill, expressive ability, and musical understanding, helping students grow into confident, creative, and passionate musicians.
