About Karsh
Hi, My name is Karsh! I'm a 3rd year astrophysics student at Cambridge University and a personal tutor for maths and physics with over 200 hours of experience. I have been tutoring students one-on-one for 3 years, and in the past, I have independently taught a group of GCSE student further maths, with all students achieving grades 7-9. I also have experience conducting mock interviews for Cambridge Physical Sciences courses and have tutored for ESAT equivalent exams. I achieved 3 A*s and 2 As at A-level in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, Electronics and Music.
I primarily tutor GCSE and A-level, but have also tutored UKMT maths and university entrance exams. If there is anything you think I may be able to help with, feel free to enquire and I can look into it and get back to you.
Note: For any potential Cambridge Natural Sciences students looking to just chat and gain more information on the course, the first lesson is free and I would be happy to use it to do this if I have the availability :)

I tend to prefer hour-long lessons, and have a fair amount of timetabling flexibility, if that is helpful to any students with variable schedules! Currently I am online only, but will be able to do in-person lessons on the Wirral from late June!
I personally like to do two lessons per topic that needs covering (which you can let me know in advance or sometimes during the first lesson). In the first lesson, we can go through and gauge your understanding of the topic, reteach any areas necessary and iron out misunderstandings. We create a personalised notes sheet in the process which I send back after the lesson. After that I'll send some practice questions to complete and send back before the next lesson. In that lesson we can go through your marked answers, and gain further insight into the problems.
This is also flexible, I am happy to work on whatever would help you the most at any given time!
