I am a Computer Science student with a very high GPA, a dedicated work ethic and a joy for teaching! I've always enjoyed teaching concepts and tutoring people from a young age, as the world of math is much, much bigger than just arithmetic and algebra.

Methodology:
I base my classes on teaching the material through written examples and plenty of participation, before testing those skills with quizzes, worksheets (with guidance given) and unit tests. I don't like to include unnecessary topics in my lessons and I prefer to discuss what you'll need now and in the future, as well as putting an emphasis on logical, step-by-step thinking. Ultimately, I want to teach motivated people of all ages who want to go above and beyond their given curriculum. Ideally, though, my curriculum is aimed for people whose math skills are at a Grade 8/9 level who want to learn higher grade content.
Lesson Length/Type:
Each lesson will typically be 50 minutes long, with homework assigned at the end of the lesson with a deadline. If you're stuck on a question, just send me a message! Most of this will be posted on a Google Classrooms page, too.
Quizzes will typically be 15 minutes long, with the questions being around the same difficulty of that seen in class and in homework. No help will be given here, so make sure to study!
Requirements:
Cheat sheets will be provided, but before signing up, make sure that you have a basic understanding of arithmetic and algebra (up to a Grade 8 level)! This includes having an understanding of:
-Adding, Subtracting, Multiplying and Dividing Numbers, Decimals and Fractions.
-Evaluating Exponents and Square Roots. (2 to the power of 4 is what?)
-Variables and how to solve for a variable. (x+5=8.)
-Basic Understanding of Geometry. (Surface Area, Volume.)
