About Abdul
In addition to CELTA from British Council, Delhi, I have also earned a creative writing certification from the same and did my Masters in English literature. The combination of CELTA and my Master's degree in English literature gives me an excellent command over both language and literature part of the language. Writing expertise gives me a brilliant command over grading my language as per learner’s needs and researching language for better understanding. I have learned to assess learners in the first few sessions and then plan my teaching approach accordingly. I am also aware of the importance of detailed lesson plans and learned to create elaborate lesson plans during CELTA.
As a part of the CELTA curriculum, I taught two groups of upper-intermediate and pre-intermediate for a month. This gave me the experience of teaching different kinds of learners, grading my language, assessing learning needs for learners at different levels and work on my language input. Although I’ve always been studying after my intermediate in 2011, I managed to work as a content writer, Editor, content strategist, screenplay writer and a self-employed creative writing content provider. I finished my schooling in 2011 and after that, did my B Tech in Electrical and Electronics till 2015. I found my calling as a writer during B Tech and got fascinated by literature. In 2016, I completed my certification in creative writing and started with the Masters of Arts in English. After 2 years of self-studying, I completed my postgraduate degree in 2018 and began to work as a self-employed creative writer.
During my early days, when I was working with a website named “Twelfth Man Times” I trained over 20 interns to write according to Google guidelines and work the WordPress backend. This was the first time I ever created materials for the interns to review/study and interact with learners. After that I worked as a content strategist in a start-up for a short period where I planned social media campaigns for restaurants and hotels, this gave me experience in planning a ton work to make it all manageable. Then I worked with an educational website “PRASME” to create mock test papers of “Pearson Test of English” which gave me experience in creating question papers for different levels of learners. Before starting my own content providing services, I wrote a draft of a full-length feature film and a draft of a pilot episode as a part of an initiative called “Screenplay Weavers”. And till the day before starting with CELTA, I was self-employed and catered to many clients worldwide and their needs for the type of content they require. From education to entertainment and from health & nutrition to the cannabis industry, I have written on countless niches so far.

My teaching method is based on the level of learners. First few sessions are focused on the learner to find out their learning needs, their language level, motivations, previous knowledge, et cetera.
Once I have every information, I plan my lessons accordingly.
There are learning techniques that only work with upper-intermediate students and there are techniques that are too easy for a higher level student. So, it is of utmost importance to focus the first few sessions on finding about the learner.
My teaching approach is more learner-centric, that means, the teacher doesn't speak too much unnecessarily because it will only distract and confuse the learners. The sessions are more task-based rather test-based. I assess my learners at every second of the class.

For Business English: 1500₹ per hour
When to pay: After the learner has attended the demo session, they will have to make the payment before the first paid session.
How many hours to study: Hours of study can be decided by the learner alone or they can discuss it with me.
Cancellation: learners can cancel their classes at any point but only 40% of the payment shall be refunded.
