About Harriet
After recently graduating from the University of Cambridge with a First Class Economics degree, I am now full of knowledge and enthusiasm for my subject and can't wait to help you in your studies. I have had lots of experience tutoring students of all ages - from 11+ examination prep to A-Level Maths & Economics. I love teaching because I really enjoy helping students and watching them become more confident and engaged with their studies.

I think it's so important to tailor one-to-one tutoring session around the student. In our first discussion I like to find out what areas and skills you would like to work on, and what time frame and goals you have in mind. I will then come up with a comprehensive plan for our tuition sessions, specifically designed for you.
My personal style of teaching is focused on encouraging enthusiasm and engaging students from the very beginning. I follow a Oxbridge tutorial-style format, and encourage discussion and questions throughout the session to help students become more inquisitive and engaged with their studies.
My students enjoy my tuition sessions because they love having the chance to get one-on-one support from a recent graduate who is up-to-date and confident with the subject content, and able to address any questions or concerns they may have. They also enjoy seeing real progress as their school grades improve and the regular exam practice question that we do together prove that their understanding and confidence is growing.
