About Grace
Hi! I'm Grace, an Engineering student at the University of Cambridge. I'm excited to help you understand the fundamentals behind any maths topics you might be struggling with, or just want to gain a stronger knowledge of. I'm also more than happy to help with university applications, particularly for courses similar to engineering/maths/physics. This includes (but is not limited to) help with: personal statements, admissions tests and interviews.
Experience:
I'm happy to advise and help with the university application process, and to share my experiences. I've been through the UCAS application process twice, both times being made an offer by Cambridge.
I've also had plenty of experience providing feedback to math/engineering-related projects through my 8 weeks working as a fellowship facilitator, as well as advising on the UK university application process and Oxford scholarship applications.
I took A-Levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Biology. In the past I participated in maths challenges and physics Olympiads, and have achieved gold award in the UKMT 2022 Senior Mathematical Challenge.

I am a hard working and engaging tutor who always strives to ensure my lessons are as effective as possible.
I plan and tailor my lessons to each students individual needs, ensuring that students have a strong understanding of each topic, enabling them to tackle harder problem solving questions needed to achieve top grades.
After each lesson, I set revision material, to check that concepts are understood and to help move them to long term memory. Depending on goals and time availability, we can discuss to decide what will be most useful for the student.

Grace tutored me for my ESAT examination through Superprof. My biggest impression is that the lessons are very well organised and prepared, she keeps tracks of my progress even though we meet up once a week. Besides, we were able to identify my weak topics quickly and start tackling them as soon as the second lesson. She’s very knowledgeable and was able to explains a new topic in a very intuitive way.
