About Joseph
I am a highly experienced Cambridge International History educator with over 30 years of teaching at IGCSE and A Level. I have a strong understanding of Cambridge and IB assessment objectives and marking criteria. I will help my students to develop the skills required to achieve strong results in examinations, including essay writing, source analysis, interpretation, and evaluation.

My approach is practical, structured, and examination-focused
Lessons are tailored to the individual student's needs and may include
1. Identifying weaknesses in knowledge and examination skills
2. Teaching students how to analyse the wording of examination questions
3. Developing clear and convincing historical arguments
4. Reviweing essays and identifying specific areas of improvement
5. Monitoring progress and setting targets
The objective is to teach students how to use their historical knowledge to effectively respond to examination questions.
