About Tim
I studied Mathematics at Jesus College of the University of Cambridge from 2018-2021, covering areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics but specialising in Methods for Complex Analysis, Fluid Dynamics and Dynamical Systems.
From 2021-2022 I studied for a Mathematics PGCE at Reuben College of the University of Oxford, including placements at two secondary schools.
Since 2022 I have been teaching Mathematics at a secondary school in Stockport, Greater Manchester, which has included taking a top set Year 11 class into their GCSEs.

I believe that the best way to get better at maths is, quite simply, doing maths. I'll discuss with you the topics on which you should be focusing, and then either I can provide you with a personalised selection of past paper questions or you can bring your own work. We can go into detail on the challenging end-of-paper questions as well as any unfamiliar content, and I will also give you feedback on your work and advice on exam strategies.
