About Jan
I have a PhD from Cambridge in Applied Maths (Fluid Dynamics, if you must know - and yes, I do have an opinion on the OpenAI Navier-Stokes proof), and I have spent over 20 years working as a Quant and Data Scientist in the City of London. I have published a number of research papers, ranging from fluid dynamics, through quant finance to machine learning and computational neuroscience. I also have a visiting affiliation with King's College London.
I tutor all aspects of Maths, Computer Science and Statistics for GCSE, A levels and equivalent, and university entrance preparation, both undergraduate and post-graduate.
I also tutor things like Prompt Engineering, Context Engineering, AI Agents, OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, LLMs, SLMs, Neural Networks, Machine Learning, etc. And of course any aspects of Quant Finance.
