About Toni
Hello! I am a medical student at the University of Cambridge with more than six years of experience as a tutor for students from Year 7 to A-Level. Over the past few years, I have taught many students in various subjects including Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics.
I believe that every single student has the capability of achieving success if he or she gets the proper guidance. I adopt a highly supportive approach towards my tutees. No matter what the student aims for – improving his/her confidence level, catching up with complicated subjects, or scoring excellent grades – I do my best to help him/her build up a solid base and an effective exam technique.

Each lesson is tailored according to the needs, abilities, and preferences of the student. The lesson starts with a brief summary so that previously learnt material can be revised and any problem areas are highlighted. New concepts are then taught by explaining, providing worked examples, discussing the topic and doing activities based on it.
Having six years of teaching experience, I am aware of the fact that having confidence in one’s abilities is as important as knowing the material well. Therefore, I encourage the students to ask me questions, express their opinions about different issues, and use my lessons to correct their mistakes. In addition, exam questions and good revision techniques are always included in the lessons. Thus, the student will not only gain new knowledge but also learn how to take tests effectively.
