About Kazki
Years of experience tutoring students in preparation for their Computer Science and Mathematics exams since 2021, providing a safe space for students to boost their confidence. Having graduated with a First Class Master's degree in Computer Science, I have inside-out subject knowledge on the Mathematics and Computer Science courses, additionally with experience teaching discrete mathematics and programming to undergraduate students at The University of Warwick during my final year of study. More recently I have been an examiner for Cambridge OCR which has given me first-hand experience on how to mark exam responses accurately and consistently, marking over 1,000 scripts for GCSE Maths as of date.
On the academic side, in 2023, I had the pleasure of representing The University of Warwick in an international competitive programming competition in a team of three, requiring us to come up with the best algorithms and mathematics we could in a gruelling 5-hour competition to solve as many problems as possible.
Professionally, my work is in Technology Business Management at a large financial firm in the UK, which has given me practical experience to supplement the subject knowledge for the Computer Science GCSE and A-Level courses I support.

I'm keen on making lessons enjoyable for students and having a productive yet fun lesson together. Generally, I really enjoy teaching students who are motivated to learn and try their best. Asking questions is one of the best ways to learn and I always encourage students to ask me anything they are unsure about. I can adapt my teaching style to either teach content if it's your first time seeing it, or go over practice questions for general revision. When going over difficult concepts and topics, I will break these down into small manageable chunks so that you understand the hard stuff one bit at a time! I can follow a curriculum if requested, or allow the student to choose what to focus on if they need some general practice outside of school lessons. I am also happy to provide guidance on what transferable skills are relevant to Maths and Computer Science and how they apply to the real world, and how getting strong GCSE and A-Level results are passports to opportunity when it comes to university and industry employment.
